Referral Criteria

JOMJENS Care Mental Health Service accepts referrals for adults presenting with a broad range of mental health conditions. This includes, but is not limited to, the conditions below.

Conditions we accept

DepressionPersistent low mood, loss of interest and reduced energy affecting daily life.
Anxiety DisordersExcessive worry and fear, including generalised anxiety.
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)Distress and flashbacks following traumatic experiences.
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)Intrusive thoughts and repetitive behaviours that disrupt daily life.
Social PhobiaIntense fear of social situations and being judged by others.
Health AnxietyPersistent worry about having or developing a serious illness.
Panic DisorderRecurrent, unexpected panic attacks and fear of further attacks.
Bipolar Affective Disorder (BPAD)Episodes of low mood alternating with elevated or manic states.

We also accept individuals with chronic or severe mental illness who do not require inpatient care, or who can be managed at home with family involvement and a support network.

Services are delivered over Zoom or face to face. Teenage patients are chaperoned by a referring patient or carer.

Support is provided to patients who require further intervention following first-line treatment, or where mental health complexities are identified.
