Frequently asked questions
Who can be referred to JOMJENS?
We accept referrals for adults presenting with depression, anxiety-related disorders (including PTSD, OCD, social phobia, health anxiety and panic disorder) and bipolar affective disorder. Teenage patients are seen when chaperoned by a referring patient or carer.
How are appointments delivered?
Appointments are offered over Zoom or face to face whichever works best for you. Our service is designed to be accessible and flexible around your needs.
How many sessions will I have?
Brief Intervention is typically delivered over 3–8 sessions, depending on clinical need. We engage with you for no longer than is clinically necessary.
Do you prescribe medication?
Yes. We offer non-medical prescribing for psychiatric medication, supported by physical health checks such as ECG and blood tests to safely initiate and monitor treatment.
How do I pay for an appointment?
You can book and pay securely online, per session. Fees are shown clearly before you confirm a booking.
